AI Video Creation: Scarily Powerful, but Not Quite Perfect

Recently, I found myself diving into a free online AI class—ChatGPT 101 with Vaibhav Sisinty ↗️. As a marketer in between jobs, I have some time to explore and experiment, so why not?

One of the stars of the show was Invideo AI, a video creation tool that I absolutely had to try. The result? Not perfect, but way better than I expected and so fast it felt like a magic trick.

But here’s the kicker—the “training the human” part was the most time-consuming.

I kicked things off with a short, very general prompt. The result was immediate and, honestly, incredible! Just not quite what I wanted. Apparently, AI can’t read my mind… yet.

Next, I got more specific with my instructions. The result? Closer, but still not hitting the mark.

Finally, I took matters into my own hands and manually swapped out some of the videos suggested by the platform. Hilariously, “a person walking on a beach” turned out to have more interpretations than I ever imagined. Selecting the right image was easier than explaining what I envisioned. Now, the video was almost perfect!

I still have some learning to do to make the video truly “perfect.” But what I managed to accomplish in just minutes, without any video editing background, was nothing short of incredible. And free! 😍
